My practice, which is located in the heart of downtown Culver City, offers customized, personalized psychological services to adults of all ages who are experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, insomnia, relationship concerns, or other struggles that are interfering in their ability to feel fully alive and satisfied. My focus is on providing weekly and biweekly individual therapy. Additionally, I offer real-world coaching, skills practice, and exposure-based interventions, up to 4 hours per week, for clients who desire a higher level of support.
I integrate behavioral, acceptance-based, and relational approaches as I develop a custom treatment approach in collaboration with you. I believe in co-creating the therapy experience rather than "delivering" it. Each person is unique and each therapy will be developed creatively, while hewing to the evidence based foundations of the field. My approach also tends to de-emphasize technology, so that I can be fully present with you and minimize distractions.
I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2008, and also have a Bachelor's Degree from Pomona College in Claremont, CA. My training includes an APA accredited internship at Albany Medical College and a postdoctoral fellowship from the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. I served in leadership and clinical roles at the VA Palo Alto HCS from 2009-2015, before taking on my current role as a psychologist at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services in 2015. My professional experience includes training psychiatry residents at Stanford University as well as supervising psychology graduate students at UCLA.
